In light of the recent revelations and damning statements made by MSR MEDIA and the recent interview featuring former St. Kitts Nevis Tourism Minister and Attorney- at- Law Dwyer Astaphane there are serious implications for the Citizenship Investment Program of Saint Lucia. Their statements have elevated the allegations of corruption that are being made and have given them much more substance, signaling that there is more to the allegations than meets the eye.

MSR MEDIA’s offer to provide the Saint Lucian government with direct access to the evidence demands urgent attention. We urge the government to take up the offer and thoroughly assess the evidence themselves. Given the government of Saint Lucia’s request to allow Saint Lucia to delay signing the Memorandum of Agreement it is imperative that the government avail themselves of any information or proof of evidence available to them.

For the sake of the integrity of our CIP program we ask that they do so.
For the sake of all Saint Lucians and the reputation and integrity of Saint Lucia we ask that the government sign the Memorandum of Agreement.

Considering the broader implications for the integrity of the CIP programs in the region we believe the government has no other option than to sign the Agreement.
