On his weekly talk show, Minister Richard Frederick made some shocking claims regarding the 2011 murder of Arthur “Arfo” Clarke. For those of you who don’t know, Arfo Clarke is the father of UWP Castries Central candidate Rosh Clarke who was a teenager at the time of his father’s killing. Frederick detailed multiple assassination attempts on Clarke’s life before the final, successful hit. What’s most alarming is that these details were never before made public, raising serious questions about how Frederick came into this information and why he has only now chosen to reveal it.
Even more troubling, Frederick went as far as to suggest that the mother of his current political opponent, Rosh Clarke, in the murder. This pathetic and desperate political attack, warrants immediate investigation. There are long-standing allegations that Frederick himself may have had a hand in Clarke’s killing, speculations that have persisted for over a decade.
So why haven’t the police called him in for questioning? If Frederick possesses inside knowledge about the crime, then law enforcement must act. His statements demand scrutiny, and justice for Arfo Clarke should not be delayed any longer. If an ordinary citizen were to provide such specific details about a murder case, wouldn’t law enforcement act immediately? Wouldn’t they seek to verify the source of such information? Wouldn’t they question how he came to know such facts that were never before disclosed? Are the authorities afraid to question a sitting government minister? Or is there something more sinister at play?
The public deserves answers. The police must do their job.
