The United Workers Party (UWP) will be celebrating its 60 th Anniversary this year, 2024. One of the activities to highlight this milestone is the presentation of Awards. These awards celebrate the vision, tenacity, creativity, loyalty, commitment and compassion of our members and supporters.
We want to show appreciation to those who are exemplifying the qualities which have identified us as the preferred political Party to guide and develop Saint Lucia.
In view of this we are inviting you to submit nominations for any or all of the awards outlined in the attached GUIDANCE NOTES. Please note that separate forms must be used for each person nominated. You can nominate one individual for multiple awards but each award must be outlined on separate forms. Nominations can be made by an individual or a group (example a constituency branch, women’s arm, youth arm).
The nomination must be made on the prescribed form, labelled NOMINATION FORM. All questions must be answered fully and correctly. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Hard copies of the form can be sourced from the UWP Secretariat, Colony House John Compton Highway, Castries or from your Branch Chair. Forms can also be downloaded here on the UWP website.
Completed forms can be forwarded electronically or hard copies delivered to your constituency Chair.
Deadline for receipt of completed forms is July 30, 2024
