EXPANDING AND IMPROVING THE INFRASTRUCTURE

The UWP has always been committed to providing the enabling environment, including the physical infrastructure, as the backbone for the expansion and efficiency of the private and public sectors. We have therefore continued with the provision of essential infrastructural projects including major roads, as well as  the airport and seaport expansion programmes.

Moreover, it is necessary to create the required physical and economic infrastructure for the economy to grow and develop at a rapid pace. All interventions have taken into account the needs of special development areas; the needs of the local and international private sector; and the challenges of the geographical and topographical diversity of the country.

  • Expansion of Sulphur Springs

  • Expansion and Enhancement of the Castries Market
