The project was initiated in 2016, 1 month before the 2016 General Election. It is commenced without securing Development Control Authority (DCA) approval, a blatant violation of standard protocols meant to ensure proper planning and compliance.
Furthermore, the land intended for the project was never officially transferred from Crown Lands to the National Insurance Corporation (NIC), yet an advance payment of $10 million was already provided by NIC. This reckless approach not only undermined transparency but also put taxpayer funds at risk.
