The United Workers Party (UWP) is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. As part of the festivities, the UWP will host a Community Night with Awards Presentation on October 26, 2024.
These awards will honour the Founders of the Party and also acknowledge exemplary contributions from individuals within various constituencies as well as the diaspora. The awards celebrate the vision, tenacity, creativity, loyalty, commitment, and compassion that have defined the Party and its supporters over the past six decades.
The UWP is dedicated to acknowledging individuals who embody the qualities that have positioned it as the foremost political party in guiding and developing Saint Lucia. Therefore, the UWP extends an invitation to all its member branches, to nominate deserving individuals for these prestigious awards.
Nomination forms as well as detailed qualifying criteria and guidance notes will be made available. The nomination process commences on May 28, 2024, and concludes on July 30, 2024. Members and supporters from both local and diaspora communities are encouraged to participate.
