Under the leadership of Prime Minister Allen Chastanet, the United Workers Party administration introduced the National Apprenticeship Programme, a bold and forward-thinking initiative aimed at empowering Saint Lucia’s youth.
This programme created real opportunities for young people to gain hands-on experience, develop marketable skills and transition into meaningful employment. It was more than just job training, it was about giving young Saint Lucians a head start, restoring hope and building a skilled workforce to drive national development.
The UWP’s commitment to youth development was not just talk it was action.
