A finance professional, Marcella Johnson has extensive banking and leadership experience. She served in several capacities in Personal and Business Banking for 25 years.

Marcella was the Relationship Manager in Business Banking for Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). She was responsible for a large portfolio of clients.  As a result of her outstanding service she has received many accolades and been invited to serve her country through various public appointments.  She is actively involved in the community through volunteerism and has served on several boards such as the St. Lucia Water and Sewerage Company Ltd and St. Lucia Bureau of Standards. She currently serves on the St. Lucia National Economic Fund Board, The Central Public Procurement Board and The Public Service Commission.

Marcella received a chairman’s scholarship from Royal Bank of Trinidad Tobago (RBTT) in 2001 and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSC) in Management Studies with First Class Honours from the University of The West Indies.

She also trained in several finance related courses and completed a MSC Finance from the University of Leicester and a designation in Financial Planning from CSI Canada.

She is married and a proud mother of two fine young men.

Marcella remains passionate about helping people meet their needs, reach their goals as well as help the wider community and the overall economy. She has now devoted her skills and professional experience to the development of her own business, Lux Inc, a car rental company.

Marcella is a well-known business professional whose expertise is sought after by the public and private sectors and she is committed to playing a key role within the United Workers Party to help the party achieve its goals to ultimately benefit the people of Saint Lucia.
