For the 6th time since being elected into office in July 2021, Saint Lucians are facing yet another shortage of sugar. On Monday when he was asked by the media as to what his Government is doing about the issue, Prime Minister Philip J Pierre said that he was not aware that there is a shortage of sugar.
Earlier today, the Director of Consumer Affairs confirmed that there is indeed a shortage of sugar in Saint Lucia.
